  1. I would say my worst was also my best. I was out on my 4th date with a guy and was planning on breaking up with him that night, he was too controlling. Anyway, during the night he began his controlling ways, acting like a real jerk. At one point he grabbed my arm and tried to force me to go with him. I told him that was it, I didn't want to see him anymore,I'd take a cab home, he grabbed harder.Another guy happened to be there, told him to get his hands off of me. That second guy ended up driving me home and we have been together ever since....29 years in December.

  3. My worst date ever had to be when I ended up having too much to drink, got sick at the bar and had some girl in the bathroom tell my date that "If things don't work out with HER, call me..." and she gave him her number right in front of me.. I felt like a loser.

  8. I had a date with my new boyfriend and he wanted me to meet his parents. We went out to a really fancy place to eat dinner. While I was eating my french onion soup, I started to choking on the thick layer of cheese. My face turned red and I finally coughed it back up, but I was so embarrased. I make such good impressions! lol

  9. I didn't really have a "bad" date...the worst were first dates that neither of us felt we would want to go out again. I had dated my husband in high school and throughout college so I really didn't do a lot of dating.

I was with him for 14 years and he abused me (big surprise, I know). I left him and married the most wonderful man in the world, with whom I have three kids.

I swear I thought several times about heading to the bathroom and calling someone to come get me. However, I chose not to. When we left, he ended up driving over one of those cement barriers at the front of parking spaces and getting his car stuck. It was so embarassing. A police officer came by and actually lifted the car and pushed it back over the baracade. I never saw this date again and have even forgotten his name...lol.

  80. My worst date ever was the one and only time I tried meeting someone online - when I met my date, I barely recognized him (he had posted a photo that must have been from 10 years, 30 pounds, and about an inch to his hairline ago!). Even worse, though he'd described himself as intelligent, polite, and well-read online, he proved himself to be none of those. He was rude to the waitress at the restaurant, mostly complained about his work, and overall just talked about himself the whole time. It was painful, and I couldn't wait for it to end!

  116. My worst date ever was a blind date-you know the kind where you ask "Is he good-looking?" and the person fixing you up stutters and says "He has a great personality."
I wouldn't have minded about the looks so much if he really did have a good personality, but this yo-yo wore a pair of teeny-tiny shorts (think Rocky and Apollo Creed in the scene from Rocky3 where they are running on the beach)and he was commando, so all of his male floppage was hanging out-30 years later I cannot for the life of me recall what he said or what he looked like, but the memory of him sitting in the chair across from me is burned into my brain forever.

  121. uggh, I just posted and it disappeared on me :( The worst date I went on was with a guy I was going out with to get my husband's attention (we were best friends at the time and nothing more). The guy wasn't bad looking and he seemed pretty nice so I decided to give it a shot. We were to go get something to eat and then see a movie. On our way to the restaurant, we got stopped at a train crossing. I don't know if he was nervous or what, but he just bursted out "pretend" talking into his shirt as if he were Scotty on a mission for Star Command. He commented on his observations about what we were doing and what the other earthlings waiting were doing. If it had been funny and clever, I might have fallen instantly in love and saved myself a lot of heartache. Alas...it was just creepy and bizarre. I ended up dating and marrying my husband instead and you know how that ended up.

  122. My worst date was when I was 19, in the Army and stationed in Italy. I went on a date with a guy who was in the Army and about 10 yrs older than me. We were sitting at the bar (yes you can drink at like 14! in Italy) and he says "are you a swinger?" I was only 19 and very naive and the only thing I had ever heard of was the movie Swingers (dancing movie) so I was like, "I can't dance but I'll give it a try" (haha) So next thing I know he smiles, leaves the bar, comes back with his WIFE who is like "ok so you want to sleep with me or my husband or both of us?" I was horrified and had another Army guy bring me home. To this day me and my friends still laugh about it!-http://krystros.blogspot.com/

  123. I just found your blog so don't want to win cause would not be fair to your loyal readers. But if I did cool. Anyway my worst date was prom. I ask a guy from church cause he was older and I thought cooler. Saying no to my friends from school who ask which was a mistake. Anyway he would not dance cause he said he did not believe in dancing so we just set around and looked dumb. Than later that night in the car he wanted a kiss and I said I did not believe in kissing. He was not amused.

  125. My worst date was when I was 18. All my friends at work were constantly picking on this guy that worked there. He seemed nice enough, so just to prove my friends wrong, I decided I'd go out with him to show my friends that they all should be more tolerant. Well, the guy was 25 years old completing a degree at a very reputable college...I thought he'd be pretty mature and normal. Well, he shows up to my house wearing short shorts and tube socks with yellow and green rings at the top...pulled up as far as they'd go. He wore those with loafers. Well, he dressed weird...no biggy. We eat dinner...he didn't talk...we went to a festival...he didn't talk (despite my chatty efforts). He asked me if I'd like to rent a movie. We go to Blockbuster and he takes me to the soft porn section...points to a movie with a chick that has big knockers on the front of it. He then asks me if I ever watch those and tells me he has a problem watching too many of them...eww TMI. lol. We pick out "Selena", go to the clerk and he tells me he has no money (doesn't even check his wallet). The clerk gives me a sympathetic look b/c it's obvious that I'm frustrated. We go back to his apartment to watch the movie...his sister is there making out with her boyfriend on the couch. I sit a mile away from him...can we say awkward?? Next day, all my friends come up to me and tell me the guy is claiming me as his girlfriend...from there he stalks me for like a month. Weird...weird, clueless, and more clueless. Saw him years later at an apartment pool and he asks me if I'd like to come in and "check out his apartment". He doesn't even notice I have my infant daughter with me...doesn't even acknowledge that I have a baby. Weird. lol

  126. I went out to dinner with a guy I'd met at work. He took me to an expensive steakhouse and he was a little surprised at the prices. I ordered a chopped steak since it was the cheapest thing on the menu. When my dinner came, he said something about how my dinner wasn't more than a hamburger. He paid, but left no tip. We went back to my house and he asked me how much my house cost - I was sort of stunned - it was none of his business. We called it a night, and never got together again.
